A stunning end to a beautiful high pressure Winter's day on Jan 22nd 2011 with the scene showing the warm colours in the SW sky just moments after the sun set behind the southern side of the Sperrin Mountains. The yellow glow marks the area above the solar disk while above a passing row of cumulus clouds have their bases transformed into an atmospheic red colour. Below is the darkening land with the last rays of the sun revealing the tenuous form of a bank of fog growing in the still land below. Captured from outside Maghera, N. Ireland using a Canon 24-70mm F/2.8 lens. * All images are available for sale in the form of photo prints, canvas or digital files for licensing, if you are interested in a purchase simply drop me an email. |
